The ASI 1201-B shower curtain rod is made of type-304, 18-8 alloy, 18-gauge stainless steel tubing, offering great durability. With a sleek satin finish, water splashes are less visible. Measuring 1 inch in diameter and 60 inches in length, it's designed for installation between opposite walls. This rod pairs well with ASI 1200-SHU shower hooks and ASI 1200-V shower curtain. The mounting flanges at both ends, made of rust-proof Zamac with a chrome finish, have countersunk holes for #10, 2-inch sheet metal screws (sold separately). Its surface-mounted design allows for easy installation on various shower surfaces like plaster, tile, masonry, and drywall.
Using your ASI 1201-B shower curtain rod is a breeze. First, gather the #10, 2-inch sheet metal screws (you'll need to buy them separately). Then, position the rod between the opposite walls where you want it installed. Use the mounting flanges at the ends and the countersunk holes to secure it to the wall surface - it works well on plaster, tile, masonry, or drywall. Once it's up, hang your ASI 1200-SHU shower hooks on the rod and then attach your ASI 1200-V shower curtain. As for maintenance, simply wipe the rod with a soft cloth after each use to keep the satin finish looking great. If there are any stubborn stains, a mild soap and water solution can be used. Avoid using abrasive cleaners as they can damage the finish. Also, check the mounting screws regularly to make sure they're tight so the rod stays securely in place.
