The 18-gauge stainless-steel shelf and 16-gauge stainless-steel mounting brackets, welded securely, form a solid unit. It has a 1/2-inch lip on all four sides, with the front lip hemmed to prevent cuts. The attractive satin finish not only looks great but also resists fingerprinting better than polished surfaces.
