The ASI 1315-4 Utility Shelf is a fantastic 3-in-1 storage solution for custodians. Made of Type 304 stainless steel with a satin finish, it has a fingerprint-resistant and attractive look. This surface-mounted shelf comes with a drying rod, 3 hooks, and 4 holders. It can hold four mops and brooms with handle diameters from 7/8 of an inch to 1-1/4 inches. Each rubber cam holder is spring-loaded for a tight grip. It's 36 inches long and 2.5 inches high. Mount it to the wall using self-tapping No. 10 screws (sold separately). The mounting bar has a 2.5-inch rolled-in hemmed edge, and the overshelf is 8 inches deep with a 3/4-inch return for added rigidity. The hooks and holders are spaced 6 inches apart across the bar, providing extra storage space.
Using the ASI 1315-4 Utility Shelf is easy. First, find a suitable wall in your commercial facility closet or room. Purchase the self-tapping No. 10 screws separately and use them to mount the shelf on the wall. Then, you can place your mops and brooms with handle diameters between 7/8 of an inch and 1-1/4 inches into the holders. The spring-loaded holders will keep them in place. Hang your rags on the hooks for extra storage. As for maintenance, simply wipe the shelf with a clean cloth to keep its fingerprint-resistant finish looking good. Avoid using abrasive cleaners that could damage the stainless steel. When not in use, make sure the shelf is not overloaded to prevent any damage to the holders or hooks.
