ASI 169 Security Grab Bar - 48L - Front Mount

ASI Grab Bars are crafted to not only meet but surpass ADAAG requirements as outlined in ICC/ANSI A117.1 - 2003 and CFR 28 Part 36. As stated in the Federal Register Vol. 56 No 144 on July 26, 1991, this fabricated product is incredibly strong, capable of supporting a 250 - pound (113.4 kg) load. Wall - mounting is key to meeting this standard. To handle shear, tension, pullout, and torsion loads from maximum loading, the fastener system is properly sized. When installed correctly, it can hold over 1350 lbs (612.4 kg). The tubing is 18 - gauge and the flanges are 1/8″ (3 mm) thick stainless steel type 304 with a satin finish. The closure plate is also 1/8″ (3 mm) thick. It features all - welded construction and has three holes through each flange for front mounting.
