Crafted from 18-8 type 304 stainless steel alloy, this security bookshelf and clothes hook combo is built to last. The 14-gauge back plate and bookshelf offer sturdy support. The clothes hooks are made of solid 3/8-inch (Ø10) bar with a one-piece construction and a 1-inch (Ø25) swivel trip-ball. When the load exceeds 35 lb (16 kg), the safety hooks snap down automatically. The trip-ball socket housing stops the hook from being set vertically up. The unit comes with six clear mounting holes that can accept the supplied 1/4'-20 or (M6) stainless steel pin-Torx® button head machine screws.
To use this product, first decide where you want to install it. Use the six provided mounting holes and the supplied 1/4'-20 or (M6) stainless steel pin-Torx® button head machine screws to securely attach it to the surface. You can place books on the bookshelf and hang clothes on the hooks. Just be careful not to overload the hooks. If the load on a hook goes over 35 lb (16 kg), the safety hook will snap down. For maintenance, simply wipe it with a clean cloth regularly to keep it looking good. Avoid using abrasive cleaners that could damage the stainless steel finish.
