Materials:
Tubing is fabricated from type 304 stainless steel with a powder-coated matte black finish. The concealed flange is 0.5 inches (13mm) deep, made of type 304 stainless steel, 3 inches (76mm) in diameter, and comes with 3 stainless steel set screws and one back plate. Flanges and center posts are welded to the tubing.
Mounting:
The standard clearance between the finished wall surface and the inner edge of the tubing is 1.5 inches (38mm). The required mounting height is 33 to 36 inches (838 to 914mm) from the top of the grab bar gripping surface to the finished floor. A 36-inch (914mm) horizontal grab bar should be installed on the back wall, and a 42-inch (1067mm) horizontal grab bar on the side wall or partition stall. Screws are not included.
Specifications:
The grab bars are designed and tested to withstand a downward pull when properly installed, meeting HUD, HEW, FHA, VA, and other Federal, State, and local codes, including the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Dimensions are measured from the center-line to the center-line of the tubing, unless otherwise noted on the grab bar application.

Using your Bobrick grab bar is simple. Just hold onto it firmly when you need support, like getting in and out of the bathtub or using the toilet. When it comes to mounting, make sure to follow the recommended height and clearance. You'll need to supply your own screws for installation. As for maintenance, just wipe it down regularly with a mild cleaner and a soft cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or tools that could scratch the matte black finish. This will keep your grab bar looking great and functioning well for a long time. And remember, since it's ADA compliant, it's designed to be accessible for everyone, so you can rely on it for safety and support.
