The ASI 3875-P is a great horizontal grab bar. It has a 1-1/2 -inch diameter and a peened gripping surface, with a size of 18 inches by 33 inches. Made from 18 - gauge stainless steel tubing, it has a lovely satin finish that reduces fingerprints while still shining attractively. At each end, there's a 3 - 1/8 - inch - diameter flange made of 1/8 - inch - thick type - 304 stainless steel, herliarc welded securely to the tubing. It also comes with snap - on flange covers made of type - 304, 22 - gauge stainless steel, measuring 3 - 3/16 inches in diameter. Once installed, these covers slide down and snap over the flange, hiding the mounting hardware, protecting against tampering and vandalism.
Using this grab bar is easy. Just install it in the desired location following the included instructions. When you need to hold on, simply grip the peened surface for a secure hold. For maintenance, clean it regularly with a mild soap and water solution. Avoid using abrasive cleaners as they might damage the satin finish.
