This grab bar with a support leg is crafted from 304 stainless - steel alloy (18 - 8). It features a 1 - 1/2” diameter (Ø38) tubing hinge with three preset detent stop positions. Polymer anti - friction bearing plates ensure a quiet and smooth operation. A polymer bumper at the bottom end prevents noise when the bar is lowered for use. The exposed flange has a 1 - 1/4″ O.D and is smooth, making it an excellent swing - up grab bar with a leg.
