The ASI 3401-30P is a straight commercial grab bar. It has a 1.25-inch diameter and is 30 inches long. The bar features a peened, non-slip gripping surface, providing a secure hold. Crafted from 18-gauge stainless steel tubing, it has an appealing satin finish that reduces fingerprints while maintaining an attractive shine. At each end, there's a 3-inch diameter flange made of type-304 stainless steel, securely welded to the tubing. Each flange has three 7/32-inch diameter countersunk, predrilled holes, spaced about 120 degrees apart, for No. 10 self-tapping or oval head mounting screws (not included). After installation, the mounting hardware remains fully visible. This grab bar meets or exceeds all ADA requirements.
Using the ASI 3401-30P grab bar is easy. First, gather the necessary mounting screws. Find a suitable location on the wall and mark the spots where the holes in the flanges will go. Insert the screws through the holes and secure the bar to the wall. Make sure it's firmly attached. When using the grab bar, hold it firmly for support. For maintenance, simply wipe it with a mild cleaning solution and a soft cloth to keep it looking good. Avoid using abrasive cleaners that could scratch the surface. Keep in mind that the mounting screws are not included, so you'll need to get them separately. Also, ensure that the installation is done according to the ADA requirements for maximum safety.
