24-Inch Grab Bar

The ASI 3401-24P is a straight grab bar with a 1-1/4-inch diameter and 24-inch length. It features a peened, nonslip surface for a secure grip. Crafted from 18-gauge stainless steel tubing with a beautiful satin finish, it resists fingerprints while still looking shiny. At each end, there's a 3-inch diameter flange made of type-304 stainless steel, welded securely to the tubing. Each flange has three 7/32-inch diameter countersunk, predrilled holes, spaced about 120 degrees apart, for No. 10 self-tapping or oval head mounting screws (not included). After installation, the mounting hardware is fully exposed. This grab bar meets or exceeds all ADA requirements.

Using this grab bar is simple. Just mount it on a suitable surface using the predrilled holes and the appropriate screws. Make sure to choose a sturdy wall or support for a secure installation. When using the grab bar, hold it firmly to prevent slipping. As for maintenance, wipe it down regularly with a mild cleaner to keep the satin finish looking great and to remove any dirt or fingerprints. Avoid using abrasive cleaners that could scratch the surface. Also, check the mounting screws periodically to ensure they're still tight. If you notice any damage or loosening, replace the parts or re - install the grab bar as needed.
