The Easy-to-Comply Vertical Extension is ingeniously designed following the 2010 ADA Standards for Accessible Design Section 307.2 Protrusion Limits and NFPA-101 4″ Projecting Object Rules. It can be easily mounted on various surfaces like walls and structural columns without the hassle of framing, patching, or painting. This extension provides a 4″ extension from 27″ off the floor up to the bottom of the object, enabling any object that projects more than 4″ off the mounting surface to meet a variety of projecting object limitations. Its living hinge design allows it to rotate 90 degrees in either direction when bumped and safely return to the center each time. Installation is a breeze: first, mark the mounting spot. Then, peel off the protective covering of the adhesive on the back. Press the extension firmly onto the surface. For a more secure mount, you can drill 4 holes and use 4 screws.

Using this Easy-to-Comply Vertical Extension is simple. First, find a suitable spot on a wall or structural column to mount it. Mark the position clearly. Next, carefully peel the protective covering off the adhesive on the back of the extension. Then, firmly press the extension onto the marked surface. If you want a more secure installation, you can drill 4 holes and use 4 screws to attach it. When in use, if the extension gets bumped, it will rotate 90 degrees in either direction and then safely return to the center. As for maintenance, just keep it clean with a dry cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals as they might damage the adhesive or the extension itself. Also, check the mounting regularly to make sure it's still secure.
