The Easy Comply Vertical Extension is a smart solution designed with the 2010 ADA Standards for Accessible Design Section 307.2 Protrusion Limits and NFPA-101 4″ Projecting Object Rules in mind. It can be easily mounted on almost any surface, like walls and structural columns, without the need for framing, patching, or painting. This extension allows objects that project more than 4″ from the mounting surface to meet a variety of projecting object limitations. It provides a 4″ extension from 27″ off the floor up to the bottom of the desired object. Its living hinge design enables it to rotate 90 degrees in either direction if bumped and safely return to the center each time. Installation is a breeze. First, mark the spot for mounting. Then, peel the protective covering off the adhesive on the back of the extension. Press the adhesive firmly to the surface to affix the extension. For a more secure mount, you can drill 4 holes and use 4 screws.

Using the Easy Comply Vertical Extension is simple. First, find the right spot on your wall or column to mount it. Mark that spot clearly. Then, carefully peel off the protective covering from the adhesive on the back of the extension. Press it firmly onto the marked surface. If you want it to be extra secure, you can drill 4 holes and use screws to attach it. When using, be aware that if the extension gets bumped, it will rotate 90 degrees in either direction and then return to the center. This is a normal and safe feature. For maintenance, just keep it clean. You can use a soft cloth to wipe it down occasionally. If there are any stubborn stains, use a mild cleaner. Avoid using abrasive materials that could damage the extension.
