Amerex Dry Chemical Fire Extinguisher and 28 sec. Discharge

This Amerex fire extinguisher uses dry chemical copper as the extinguishing agent. It's a Class D extinguisher perfect for specific fires. With a 27-3/4' height and 8' diameter, its steel cylinder can handle an operating pressure of 196 psi. It has a 28-second discharge time and can reach up to 10 ft. A wall bracket is included. It meets multiple standards like NFPA 10, ISO-9001/ISO-14001, FM, CAN/ULC-S504, ANSI/UL 299, CAN/ULC-S508, and ANSI/UL711.

Using this fire extinguisher is easy. First, pull the pin to break the tamper seal. Then, aim the nozzle at the base of the fire. Squeeze the handle to start discharging the dry chemical. Sweep from side to side until the fire is out. When not in use, keep it in a visible and accessible place, preferably on the included wall bracket. Check the pressure gauge regularly to make sure it's in the green zone. If it's not, have it serviced by a professional. Don't expose it to extreme temperatures or physical damage. After using it, even partially, have it recharged or replaced as soon as possible.
