Easy Comply Vertical Extension - Fire Extinguisher Lettering - 12 Length, ECVE-12-FE

The Easy Comply Vertical Extension is a great solution that takes into account the 2010 ADA Standards for Accessible Design Section 307.2 Protrusion Limits and NFPA-101 4″ Projecting Object Rules. It can be easily mounted on almost any surface like walls and structural columns, no need for framing, patching or painting. This extension provides a 4″ extension from 27″ off the floor up to the bottom of the object, helping objects that project more than 4″ off the mounting surface comply with various projecting object limitations. Its living hinge design allows it to rotate 90 degrees in either direction when bumped and safely return to the center each time.

To use this Easy Comply Vertical Extension, first mark the spot where you want to mount it. Then, peel the protective covering off the adhesive on the back of the extension. Press the adhesive firmly against the surface to affix it. For a more secure mount, you can drill 4 holes and use 4 screws. When using, be aware that it's designed to handle bumps, thanks to the living - hinge design. There's no need for special maintenance, but if it gets dirty, you can clean it with a mild cleaner. Just make sure to follow the ADA and NFPA rules while using it to ensure compliance.
