The Swing-Up Grab Bar is crafted from 304 stainless steel alloy 18-8 with a Satin finish. It features a 1-1/2” diameter (Ø38) tubing hinge and three preset detent stop positions: fully up, 45 degrees raised, and fully down. A polymer bumper at the bottom end prevents banging when lowered. Tension for movement is provided by an internal detent stop pawl, and it can be operated with one hand. The mounting plate has a solid stop bumper to protect the wall from the raised arm.
Using this swing-up grab bar is easy. Just use one hand to move it to your desired position - fully up, 45 degrees raised, or fully down. The internal detent stop pawl keeps it in place. When lowering it, the polymer bumper at the bottom end will prevent it from making a loud noise. Make sure to keep the bar clean by wiping it with a soft cloth regularly. Avoid using abrasive cleaners as they might damage the Satin finish. Check the mounting plate and the solid stop bumper from time to time to ensure they are in good condition and firmly attached.
