ASI 168 Security Grab Bar - 48L - Chase Mount

ASI Grab Bars are engineered to not only meet but surpass ADAAG standards set in ICC/ANSI A117.1 - 2003 and CFR 28 Part 36, Federal Register Vol. 56 No 144, July 26, 1991. This fabricated product is incredibly strong, capable of supporting a 250 - pound (113.4 kg) load. Wall - mounting is crucial to meet this strength requirement. The fastener system is properly sized to handle shear, tension, pullout, and torsion loads from maximum loading. When installed correctly, it can hold over 1350 lbs (612.4 kg). The grab bar features 18 - gauge tubing and 1/8″ (3 mm) thick flanges made of type 304 stainless steel with a satin finish. The closure plate is also 1/8″ (3 mm) thick. It's all - welded construction and has three holes in each flange for rear mounting.
